Do you remember the slimming wheel? It was simply a wheel with a handle at each side which you rolled in front of you and back again. It was a massive seller in the 70's. Then there was the step, so boring it was doomed to failure.
Now of course the marketers are far more sophisticated with their products. We have fat loss products made from all kinds of wonder berries and miracle teas from China. Slimming pills by the boatload not to mention all the equipment sold by TV infomercials, most of which are probably gathering dust in the garage.
No I'm afraid there is no easy way to lose a substantial amount of weight and maintain that weight loss without a complete change of lifestyle. Trust me I know this as fact.
An Inspirational Fat Loss Story
I recently watched a documentary about Georgia, a 15 year old girl from South Wales (UK) who was over 460 pounds. Her doctor told her if she did not shed at least 280 pounds she would be dead within 5 years. Imagine that at 15 years old.

The point I am making here is not that we should all go to fat school but we can learn from this. You need the support of those around you, family and friends need to be on board and not put temptation in your way.
From personal experience I know you can easily lose 20 pounds a month if you follow the right program. This does not mean starving yourself; in fact you will probably be eating more but the right kind of foods. A combination of getting rid of convenience food and moderate exercise targeted towards the problem areas like hips, belly, thighs etc ,will bring you success. I guarantee it!
Clear the cupboards and the fridge. Get hold of a really good guide, and then stock up on the recommended foods.
Buy a pedometer and do what Georgia does and walk at least 10,000 steps per day.
I wish you well in your endeavors. If you follow my recommendations You will lose 28 pounds in a month and from those problem areas of hips, belly and thighs. You just need the right mindset, not fad diets and products.
