Our skin is the most delicate part of our body that is why it is really important to know how we should take care of it. To be flawless and having a great skin is not always by nature or by birth, it always goes with the perfect ways of how you take care of yourself.
Taking care of your skin properly will make you even more beautiful and confident about yourself.
To be able to bring out the prettiest in you, here are the basic skin care tips that you should know about.
1. Cleanse, Tone and Moisturize. These are the three steps that you should do everyday; this is a complete regimen that will make your skin looks supple and smooth. You can also exfoliate once to twice a week to get rid of those dead skin cells that makes your skin dry and rough.
2. Know your skin type. Different products are made to provide different effects on your skin that’ s why it is very important to know what your skin type is to avoid complications in the end. You will get the results that you want if you have used the right products that will fit your skin's needs. Products made for oily skin for example; it must be used if and
only if you have oily skin for it has some components that increase oil production and makes skin dry. It will never be good for those with dry skin for it will just make the skin worst and even drier.
3. Stay Hydrated. Boost up your w
ater intake; it will eliminate the waste inside your body and giving you a clearer and better skin. Cleansing your inner body will reflect in a great skin appearance. Water is also a great step in moisturizing your skin inside and out.
4. Protect yourself from too much sun exposure for the sun rays can cause your skin dark spots, discoloring, spider veins and the worst is skin cancer. Remember that on a daily basis, we need to be exposed to the sun to get some vitamins but limit it to a maximum of 15 minutes. Make it a habit to always wear a sunscreen with the right SPF UVA/UVB before going outside your house. Still, even with a sunscreen on you should also use cover ups such as umbrella, jackets, hats and more for an additional protection.
5. Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol. These vices are already a bad habit for your health and so as for your skin. Smoking will cause wrinkles around your mouth area and will depletes vitamin c from your skin causing it to turn yellowish in color. While alcohol makes you less hydrated resulting to dry skin and body with toxins.
6. You are what you eat. To achieve a beautiful and glowing skin, we should not only take care of it by doing a lot of beauty regimens everyday, we should also take note of the food we eat. Load up with more fruits and veggies for it contains all the natural vitamins that will give a radiant glow on your skin. Have more intake of vitamin c for it was proven in providing skin collagen growth making the skin whiter and smoother.
